Adriaan Aarts

Adriaan (born in 1965) studied Economics at Tilburg University and began his career in banking. After spending two years at Citigroup in Zurich and Paris, he joined ABN AMRO, where he held various roles across multiple countries over the span of 20 years. In 2010, Adriaan became the CFO of Roll Group, then a start-up in the shipping industry. Under his leadership, the company grew into a mid-sized global organization with 400 employees and subsidiaries across several continents. In 2017, he transitioned to the role of CEO, steering the company’s continued expansion. Since 2011, Adriaan has also taken on the role of family officer for Frans van Seumeren Holding B.V. In this capacity, he has played a key role in supporting start-ups through their early growth phases, advising on investment strategies, deal structuring, and tax optimization. In addition, he has held multiple supervisory board positions, bringing his expertise to a variety of industries.
