Femke Bukkems

Femke Bukkems (born in 1999) is a research technician who graduated from the Biomedical Lifesciences at Hogeschool Arhnem Nijmegen (HAN) in 2021. Since then, she conducted research on AON-based therapeutic treatment for Stargardt Disease at the Department of Human Genetics in the Radboudumc Nijmegen. Now she is working for Astherna, she has continued the research for AON treatment for Stargardt disease. In addition, she has also started research into AON treatment for Usher syndrome.
